The city of Liverpool is full of light,
With fireworks and dancing through the night,
Anfield and Goodison, the flags flying high
And Radio City standing proud in the sky
800 years of Liverpool
The city was founded in 1207,
And many believe it’s just like heaven.
The Beatles came and sang their songs
And still today we’re singing along
